Objective Action (make a motion)

To introduce business

To approve action

To determine correctness of an announced voice vote

To suppress a question

To object to decision of the Chair

To make a request

To consider a second time

To repeal action

Offer a motion

Move to accept, adopt, or ratify

Move to amend or refer to a committee

Move to postpone to a definite time, refer to a committee, or lay on table

Move to time debate

Move the previous question

Move for division of the assembly

Object to consideration, move to postpone indefinitely, or lay on table

Move an appeal from the decision

Call for point of information, rise to parliamentary inquiry, or raise question of privileges

Move to take from the table, reconsider, or rescind

Move to rescind.
