Magazines In Massachusetts Libraries 

Union lists of serials identify which libraries own specific magazine titles and issues. For instance, someone wishing to locate a copy of Life Magazine from August 1955 would check a union list. Union lists are especially helpful when you need more than a single article from a magazine or when you would like to browse through a number of issues of a magazine that is not owned by your local library.

For a specific journal article, you may wish to see whether it is contained in the full-text statewide electronic resources. Your library may also be able to obtain the article quickly through interlibrary loan.
