Program Details 

Massachusetts Public Library Construction Program grants are offered on a cyclical basis. The grant cycle depends on authorizing legislature, administrative approval, and availability of funds. To date, MPLCP Construction grant rounds have been held in 1989, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2004. Planning & Design grant rounds have been held in 1995, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2004. In the period 1990 to 1994, funding for library construction was limited to federal funding through the Library Services and Construction Act, which was administered through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
