State Aid Forms 

The Board of Library Commissioners examines the Financial Report and the Compliance Form of public libraries applying for State Aid to Public Libraries "to determine adherence to existing minimum standards of free public library service under M.G.L. Ch. 78, s. 19B and existing municipal support requirements under M.G.L. Ch. 78, s. 19A, (as amended by current budget language) in order to be able to certify public libraries for aid under M.G.L. Ch. 78, s. 19A." [605 CMR 4.01 (7)]

Mid-June 2008

Annual Report Information Survey (ARIS) packet is sent to libraries.

August 29, 2008

Annual Report Information Survey (ARIS) is due.

Mid-August 2008

State Aid to Public Libraries packet is sent to libraries.

October 17, 2008

State Aid to Public Libraries forms are due.

November 6, 2008

First group of municipalities meeting requirements are presented to the Board.

December 4, 2008

Second group of municipalities meeting requirements are presented to the Board.

January 8, 2009

FY2009 MAR waiver applicants are presented to the Board.

February 5, 2009

The Board acts on FY2009 MAR waiver petitions.
